2020-2021 Circulation Policy 
 
Students have three ways to remotely access our library system.
1. Visit https://search.follettsoftware.com/metasearch/ui/53010
2. Visit our school website.  Click on the "Library" Tab and then "Online Catalog".
3. Log onto your Clever Homepage and click on the "Library Search" Link.
 
Your username is your school sign on (Grad year + Last name + First two initials) Example: 21BremnerDF.  (do not add @wpusd.org
Your password is your 8 digit student id number.
  • Grades K-1 may check out 1 book.  Grades 2-5 may check out 2 books. 
  • Check out period is two weeks.
  • Students will click "Hold" on the books they would like to check out. Please note: The system will not allow the student to delete a hold. "Hold" should not be clicked until they are certain it is the book they'd like to check out. You must contact Ms. Bremner to delete a hold. 
  • Ms. Bremner will pull the books and check them out for the student.
  • In-Person students: Your books will be delivered to your classroom the following day. 
  • InterCONNECT students: Your books will be placed on the book cart outside the front office.  They will have your name on them. You will receive an email that your books are ready for pick up.  Please pick them up by 3:30 p.m. If your books are not picked up within two school days, they will be returned to the library and made available for another student to check out.     
  • Return your books to the "Return Box" on the book cart in the front office OR in the box outside the library.   
  • ALL books must be returned before additional books can be borrowed.
  • If you place a "Hold" on a book and currently have an overdue library book OR your previous books have not been returned yet, your order will not be filled.
  • Overdue notices and/or fines will be sent via email.
In Person Circulation Policy
  • All classes have a scheduled time to visit the library one time each week.
  • Students check out ONE book at a time.
  • Students working on book reports or special projects may check out two books.
  • Check out period is ONE week.
  • All students visit the library during their scheduled library time.  If students need to exchange their book before their next class library visit, they may do so at recess / lunch time, during class time, (with teacher's permission) or before and after school.  
  • Renewals are allowed if student is actively reading the book.  The book must be presented to renew.
  • If student has an overdue book, they will not be allowed to check out until the overdue item is returned or paid for.
