Dear Twelve Bridges Elementary Families,
My name is Will Middleton and I am extremely excited and honored to be your new principal. This will be my 17th year in education, 13th year in the Western Placer Unified School District, and my 4th as a school administrator. Having previously been the assistant principal at TBE for two years, I know firsthand how special the staff, students, and families are at our school.
My goal is to continue to work closely with families to support the staff and students to ensure each student is prepared with the tools to meet the challenges of tomorrow and beyond through rigorous and focused instruction, engaging lessons, and a physically and emotionally safe environment. Students will be allowed the opportunity to take risks, build upon their successes, and grow from their failures. We understand that each student is unique and I am confident that our teachers will be able to meet their diverse learning needs.
Our staff is committed to making Twelve Bridges Elementary the best it can be. You may notice some subtle changes in procedures, but you can count on frequent communication and a high level of academic and behavioral expectations. Please be on the lookout for our first weekly message this Sunday.
There is excitement in the air as our teachers and staff work hard to prepare for a successful year. Class placement lists will be posted this Friday at 4:00 in conjunction with our PTC Ice Cream Social. The first day of school is right around the corner on August 16th. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your students as we begin/continue down the path of excellence!
